The first and second graders created shelters for a paper family that was camping and got caught in a rainstorm. They could use any or all of the following materials- wax paper, aluminum foil, plastic straws, construction paper, and a paper plate. After they each completed the shelter, water was dripped on it to see if the family could stay dry. Each class had 100 percent success!
