The Bess and Paul Sigel Hebrew Academy was founded in 1940 as the Yeshiva of Hartford and is the oldest orthodox Jewish day school in the United States. Our students represent the entire spectrum of Jewish observance. From Ganenu (the two-year old Program) through 8th grade, students come from a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
