Our students have been diligently raising money for the people affected by Hurricane Harvey. Their passion to help people in need is very admirable and reflective of the chesed that they see in their homes.
After Rosh Hashana they will start raising funds for the people affected by Hurricane Irma. On Wednesday our students returned to Beth El in West Hartford to do landscaping work, that will beautify the front of the shul. Despite the warm weather they diligently worked the land. While there they met Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman who was speaking at the shul. Many thanks to Elisheva Davidovics and Rabbi Teitz for chaperoning.
