The Bess and Paul Sigel Hebrew Academy will be holding its 78th Annual Gala Fundraising Dinner on April 24, 2018. This year’s school theme is chesed. The word “chesed” means a pure act of giving, without any motive other than to give. We are having a Kindness Gala, where we will highlight the volunteerism of the students and our honorees. This year’s Star Award recipients are Eileen and Bernard Weinberg, alumni parents, and this year’s Young Leadership Award recipients are Elana and Ofer Doron, current parents. These parents have given, and continue to give, to the Sigel Hebrew Academy so that it may thrive and grow. We will also be having a silent auction and providing a business card ad journal at the event to help raise additional funds.
The funds raised support our Scholarship Fund, which provides needed assistance to more than 75 % of our families, who might not otherwise have the financial means to give their children the life-changing opportunity to attend the Sigel Hebrew Academy. Our school continues to be a vital component of the greater Hartford Jewish community. This year’s event is expected to draw over 300 supporters.
We would sincerely appreciate a donation from your business to be featured at the auction, and/or a business card ad, for $100. All business donations of $360 or more will have their business ads in a ¼ page ad. It is the generosity of your leadership today that allows us to continue to develop the leaders of tomorrow.
Please submit your business card ad donation using the online form below
On behalf of the Sigel Hebrew Academy Board of Directors, faculty and, most importantly, our families and students, we thank you in advance for your generous support. Your gift will help enrich Jewish life and learning for so many. The Bess & Paul Sigel Hebrew Academy is a 501(c)(3) organization.
