Jewish History
Beginning in the early grades, Jewish History is studied informally through Jewish holidays. As the children reach Middle school , they are formally taught different time periods of Jewish History. By the time they reach Eighth grade they have completed a survey course of Jewish History.
In the Eighth grade, in preparation for their two week study tour of Israel, the class reviews the chronology of Jewish History with emphasis on the Holocaust and the State of Israel In addition they familiarize themselves with the entire itinerary of their perspective trip to Israel and study the topography and history of the places they will visit.
