Educational Activities
- Reading Program – Learning to read is a very important part of your child’s school experience. We have given great care and thought to the reading program. You can help your child become a better reader by encouraging him to read books on his own ability level and your reading to him.
- Library – The classroom teacher and our librarian help children select books according to their interest and reading ability. All are encouraged to share their reading experiences with others through oral and written book reports, plays, and creative art. All children are instructed in the proper care and handling of the books taken home. If a book is damaged or not returned, the child is required to pay for the damage or loss. Our library is computerized which allows us greater flexibility and control in the distribution of library books.
- Audio-Visual Program – The audio-visual program is used as a means of enriching courses of study by stimulating the various senses such as sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
